Os Globos de Ouro são hoje entregues nos EUA, para distinguir o que de melhor o cinema e a televisão fizeram em 2016. A cerimónia, que anuncia as distinções votadas pela Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood, será apresentada por Jimmy Fallon e pode ser vista em direto em Portugal a partir da uma da manhã, na madrugada desta segunda-feira, na SIC Mulher (transmissão com início às 00h00).
No cinema, a liderança na corrida vai para “La La Land”, com sete nomeações (incluindo Melhor Filme, Realizador, Ator e Atriz). Seguem-se “Moonlight”, com seis nomeações, e “Manchester By The Sea”, com cinco.
Na televisão, as séries favoritas são “The Crown” e “Westworld”, ambas nomeadas para Melhor Série de Drama. Produções que conquistaram os elogios da crítica durante o ano como “Stranger Things” ou “The Night Of” também fazem parte da lista de candidatos aos Globos.
Como já tinha sido confirmado pela Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood, Meryl Streep receberá o prémio de carreira Cecil B. de Mille.
