Foi divulgada esta segunda-feira a lista de nomeados para os Globos de Ouro 2018. “The Shape of Water”, o novo filme do realizador mexicano Guillermo del Toro, arrecadou sete nomeações, seguindo à frente como o principal favorito na categoria de cinema. A longa-metragem está nomeada para as categorias de “Melhor Drama”, “Melhor Realizador” e “Melhor Atriz”, entre outras. Em segundo lugar na corrida aos Globos de Ouro ficaram os filmes “The Post”, de Steven Spielberg, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”, de Martin McDonagh, cada um com seis nomeações.

Na televisão, a série “Big Little Lies”, candidata a seis categorias, foi a mais nomeada. A seguir na lista surge “Feud: Bette and Joan” (quatro nomeações), “Fargo” (três nomeações) e “The Handmaid’s Tale” (três nomeações). “The Crown”, produzida pela Netflix, “Game of Thrones”, da HBO, e “Stranger Things”, também da Netflix, também estão entre as nomeadas na subcategoria de “Drama”. A HBO é o canal de televisão com maior número de nomeações (12 no total).

Os Globos de Ouro são atribuídos anualmente pela Hollywood Foreign Press Association, constituída sobretudo por jornalistas freelance dos quais apenas 89 podem votar, explica o The New York Times. A 75.ª cerimónia dos prémios de cinema e televisão irá decorrer a 7 de janeiro no International Ballroom do hotel Beverly Hilton, na Califórnia, a partir das 17h (hora local). A apresentação estará a cargo do comediante Seth Meyers.
